# User data deletion | City Courier Services

Use these instructions to ask City Courier Services to delete personal information we hold about you, including phone and WhatsApp numbers used for OTPs and shipment notices.

## How to request deletion

Email query@citycourierservices.in with the subject **Data deletion request**.

Include:

- Your full name
- Phone number and WhatsApp number, if you have them
- Email address, if you used one with us
- Any consignment or account details that help us find your records
- A clear request to delete your data

We may ask you to confirm your identity before we delete anything, so we do not remove someone else’s records by mistake.

## What we will do

After we verify the request, we will delete or anonymise personal data we no longer need, including enquiry details and WhatsApp numbers stored for notifications, where we can.

We aim to complete this within 30 days. We will email you when it is done, or if we need more information.

## What we may keep

Indian tax, accounting, and legal rules may require us to keep some records (for example invoices, GST details, and shipment history) for a set period. We will not use that retained data for WhatsApp or marketing.

## WhatsApp and Meta

Deleting your data from City Courier Services stops us sending you further WhatsApp messages. It does not delete chats already stored in the WhatsApp app on your phone, or data Meta holds under its own policies. For that, use WhatsApp’s in-app controls and Meta’s privacy tools.
